Storyline Dying of the Light

Pensionen nærmer sig truende for den erfarne CIA-agent Evan Lake (Nicolas Cage), der er ramt af alvorlig sygdom. Men da hans kollega Milton (Anton Yelchin) kommer på sporet af en terrorist, må Evan udsætte pensionen. Evan har nemlig et alvorligt udestående med terroristen, efter han engang blev torteret af ham. Evan indleder nu sin egen menneskejagt på terroristen – selvom det er direkte imod de ordrer, han har fået af sine chefer. En film af den berømte manuskriptforfatter og instruktør Paul Schrader, der skrev manuskriptet til ’Taxi Driver’- en af 1970’ernes mest berømte film.
