’Unstoppable’ er en ny actionfilm fra en af genrens mestre, Tony Scott (’Kapring af Metro 1 2 3’, ’Deja Vu’, ’Man on Fire’).Et tog med kælenavnet ”The Beast” er fuldkommen ude af kontrol og fyldt med et lad af giftige kemikalier. Toget drøner af sted gennem det ellers idylliske landskab og ødelægger alt, hvad der måtte stille sig foran det.En erfaren ingeniør (Denzel Washington) og en ung togkonduktør (Chris Pine) må samarbejde om at stoppe toget.
